20 m² · 1 double bed
The location was very nice for sightseeing, a bus stop right outside the house and very close to shops; if someone wants, they could even cook something. The lock that opens with a code was terrible – the number of mistakes, the wrong codes entered, was indescribable; you had to do it very carefully. It wasn’t just our case because during our stay in the room we heard everyone having the same problem, which was a bit annoying. There was a set of toiletries but it was incomplete; we had a soap bar that wore out after two days, and the shower gel was the same. For four days we received one roll of toilet paper and a leftover from previous guests, which, to look “neat,” was taped under the tap. We didn’t expect cleaning according to our request in the bathroom; we used towels sparingly and didn’t ask for a change, hanging a sign on the door that only applied to towels. We thought such basics would be replenished, but at the end of the stay we had to be very frugal. The rooms face each other, maybe a meter apart, so it isn’t very private; I think it’s okay for one or two nights.
“Poco”
The place had a few positives. The bathroom smelled damp and rusted, and you couldn’t control the shower temperature. The bed’s backrest sank in.
The location was great. The room was very quiet and well equipped.
“Gran ubicación”
The spot is great – a bus right at the door drops you straight into the city centre, super convenient. The bed was comfy, and the room had a fridge, microwave and kettle, all very well equipped. The downside was that the bathroom wasn’t in the room but in a shared hallway, which was a bit inconvenient.
The staff were friendly and helpful, the location was good, and there was a bus stop across the street with Kennington tube station just an 8‑minute walk away. It offered good value for money.
