“Magical place. Perfect for a relaxing stay, car parked right at your door and lovely ambience and amenities.”
Everything was absolutely perfect. A lovely, tranquil spot that was extremely comfortable. Nothing to complain about.
“Maddy et Bruno”
The hosts were friendly and very welcoming. The cottage was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, with a calm setting and a lovely view of the surrounding countryside. The animals were also nice! The only regret: I didn’t get to meet the Saint‑Bernard. 😂
“Un Saint-Bernard, des poules, une nature en grande forme et un lieu cosy, reposant et accueillant!”
Just under twenty minutes from Albi, you gain serenity, nature, and space. The owners are genuinely very friendly, and the layout is cosy and relaxing. The small menagerie adds originality and keeps boredom at bay. The surrounding nature and the round‑trip path through small, bucolic roads provide incredible benefits.
“Cadre agréable, bien décoré, parfait pour 1 ou 2 nuits.”
The calm was pleasant and the big dog’s visits were peaceful. The room was spacious and nicely decorated, with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was also large and well equipped, with sachets provided and both bed and bath linens. Window screens were present. The owners were friendly, the little one adorable. Requests were heard and resolved. Wifi worked well. A very nice restaurant about 5 km away on Fauch. Close to Albi, ideal for city visits. It would be good to note that it isn’t suitable for a multi‑day stay: the fully equipped kitchenette is on a covered terrace that isn’t private or adjacent to the room, so bad weather is problematic. There’s no cosy seating area if the weather locks us in the accommodation, no comfortable armchair or even a small sofa. No small wardrobe (wood and canvas, matching the décor theme) to store belongings, so we had to camp with open luggage. No screen at the front door we have to pass to go from the bathroom to the room. Perhaps slightly smaller rooms would have allowed a small table and two chairs for breakfast. The steep, uneven stone path is problematic, especially when leaving.
“dommage car la chambre et la salle de bain sont agréables”
The large room and nice bathroom were highlights. However, the sound insulation was poor because the neighboring unit was separated only by an unsealed door, so it felt like the other tenants were in my room. The outdoor kitchen can only be used on nice, wind‑free days. The dirt and stone access path is hard to climb. There was no table or chairs in the accommodation, so I recommend it only for a short stop.
