“Nice place. Good location. Would go back.”

The place looked gorgeous, the pool was fantastic, and the dock had a cool vibe. However, the neighbors didn’t seem to appreciate us, and when we slowed to find the gate we got yelled at for parking. It felt odd since we were apparently the only ones there.

“Do not stay at this facility.”

The manager blamed the dead bugs in my room and on the bedspread, and only informed us about a wedding being held at the venue the day before it happened. The pool was closed from 3:30 to 10 pm, the hotel doors were left open, stray animals wandered in and left feces on the steps, power went out and the generator took hours to start.

We requested a room facing the airport because my partner loves aviation, and we got one, but the planes were taking off from the other runway, so they never flew overhead—just distant noise, which didn’t ruin the stay. Our two bedrooms were spacious and overlooked a small pool that we used a few times; being the only guests most of the time meant we had it to ourselves. The large balcony was great for watching the planes, and there were restaurants and cafés nearby. We took an Uber into San Juan. In the foyer there was a coffee machine and a cold water dispenser we could use. We knew there was no breakfast or bar, but having one would have been a nice addition.

Excellent service, close to beaches, restaurants, and a gas station, very friendly staff, the coffee and cappuccino were delicious, and the area is quiet.
