BB Salem in Strijen occupies a historic building with a lush garden and sunny terrace, offering free Wi‑Fi throughout. Guests benefit from an on‑site electric‑vehicle charging station and secure bicycle parking. Situated 22 km from Rotterdam Ahoy and 40 km from Rotterdam‑The Hague Airport, it provides easy access to Alcazar (8 km) and Molen De Goede Hoop (11 km). The charming setting and attentive host make it a favored retreat.

A beautiful old building in great condition, complete with its own cooking facilities. Clean and well maintained, with a private entrance. Some older items in good condition match the building, and the price is sharp. You shouldn’t find it a problem that the shower and toilet are shared (super clean, by the way). Limited but good contact with the host. Everyone has their own entrance, so privacy is limited.

Good bed. I would replace the coffee machine with a single‑cup model—easier and less wasteful.
