Just a few steps from the ocean, yet in my suite I had no hot water for four days and the sockets didn’t work. No hot water, low‑grade breakfast, no early breakfast or coffee on the last day, and I had to pay for coffee even though breakfast was included.

“Amazing stay at Club Kaafu in the most amazing place.”

The location is fantastic—just ten steps to the beach, overlooking a small cove with sunbeds and shade. We were full board; while the menu wasn’t huge, the buffet and à‑la‑cuisine options were tasty and high quality. Club Kaafu’s watersports were stellar, and we booked the full jet‑ski, six snorkeling trips, and non‑motorised activities for $187—great value. The snorkeling was incredible: turtles, sharks, sting‑rays, eagle‑rays, a wide array of fish, and a once‑in‑a‑lifetime swim with whale sharks. We also did two scuba dives, which were amazing. The room was a cute beach‑view bungalow with stunning sea and sunset views, and the air‑con was efficient. The room attendant was helpful and professional, making everything hassle‑free. Traveling with my 14‑year‑old daughter, we had an unforgettable time that felt like paradise; Dhiffushi’s real Maldivian life, restaurants, and shops were within walking distance. The hotel handled the airport transfer speed. Because of flight changes, we had two separate bookings: a 2‑night stay and then a 10‑night stay. The shower was sometimes a bit cooler than I’d prefer, but given the warmth overall, it wasn’t a major issue.

The stay at Club Carfoo turned out to be a total letdown. The place was run in a chaotic way and nothing matched the ads. There was no proper reception, so getting anything sorted was a nightmare from the get‑go. The manager was dismissive and refused to take responsibility or give a reasonable fix when we raised concerns. On top of that, we were hit with an extra guest fee that was way higher than we’d expected, and no one ever explained it or got our agreement beforehand. The whole trip felt shady and unprofessional, and I won’t stay there again.

“Tutto assolutamente da migliorare”

Posizione ottima. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Colazione semplice. La struttura ha molte potenzialità, purtroppo al momento non sfruttate. La camera semplice, ma illuminata male, di sera molto buia. Il bagno non funzionale e con un odore terribile proveniente dalle fogne che si propagava in tutta la camera. Abbiamo riferito il problema al personale che però ha solo fatto defluire acqua abbondante negli scarichi e ci ha fornito un deodorante per ambienti, cose che ovviamente non hanno risolto nulla. Il problema è sicuramente strutturale. Idem per l'assenza di acqua calda, per fortuna il clima era tale da consentirci di fare la doccia con acqua "fresca". La spiaggia di fronte sarebbe carina, ma purtoppo non viene per nulla curata, è sporca e ingombrata da moto d'acqua, piccoli catamarani, etc. i lettini e gli ombrelloni molto vecchi e malandati. Non fate affidamento sulle foto dell'esterno perché non c'è più nulla in legno. Tutto sostituito da cemento e plasitica. Peccato! Credo che a prezzi più o meno simili sull'isola ci sia di meglio

“Came and stay in Paradise, the most amazing island and beach bungalows”

The location is amazing, just 10ft from the beach in our beach bungalow where there are sunbeds and shades and we are the only ones on the beach. There is a water sports company who offer a lot of excursions which we are booking the full package tomorrow. The staff have gone over and above they are friendly and so helpful. There is everything you need in the room, really efficient air con, beach towels, safe, tea and coffee and the room attendant is so professional and kind that nothing is too much trouble. Due to change in flights we booked an extra 2 night stay on room only basis as we have another 10 night stay on full board basis which was our original booking. Our flight was also delayed and missed our speedboat transfer and we put on a a boat that wasn't even scheduled the staff really go the extra mile. The photos look so perfect that they don't look real but I assure you they are. It would be good if there were cushions on the sunbeds but this is seriously my only fault
