Bobosh is a tiny boutique hotel with only nine rooms in Bukhara’s historic center, and its interiors feel like an Eastern princess’s dream, clearly chosen with love and attention to detail. The staff are extremely polite and attentive, making guests feel more like visitors than just stays; breakfasts are modest but good, hearty, and homely, with options like omelette, porridge, fruit, and sweets. Though the breakfast is on the minus‑first floor, the staff can arrange it on the third‑floor terrace, where you can brew tea or coffee and enjoy a city view. The entire breakfast can be spent on the terrace, which is a very pleasant option. We spent one night in a small room that was somewhat uncomfortable and had high sound transmission—we could hear the TV in the neighboring room, but the owners kindly provided earplugs that we used. The second night was in a larger, quieter, and more comfortable room. The rooms are interestingly designed with great attention to detail, and overall I loved everything and would gladly stay again. The shower in the room seemed a bit inconvenient, but it didn’t cause much discomfort, especially considering the hotel’s historic setting in an old building; I didn’t expect anything extraordinary from the bathroom in such a structure.

“Perfect location, amazing staff.”

The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to help us catch our train on time, especially Farkhod; the location keeps us out of the main square’s chaos yet close enough for a short walk, and the rooftop terrace is a lovely spot for morning breakfast. The rooms are elaborately decorated with a lot of care, making this small hotel feel special. It’s very compact, which is exactly why it offers such good value for money!

The staff were exceptionally helpful and kind, and during our honeymoon they arranged complimentary wine and fruit on the terrace at night. The location was perfect, but the thin walls let us hear other guests talking, and the window into the courtyard wasn’t fully covered with curtains, making us feel a bit uneasy at night if another guest could look in. The bathroom was very small.
