Le stanze in Fiera, Bologna by Short Holidays

The replacement flat was very modern and well equipped in the Bollogniina area. Unfortunately the room near the fair wasn’t available, so I was offered a full flat instead, which was generous. However, it was 42 minutes on foot from the fair or 30 minutes by public transport. The public transport didn’t work well because of road works and several taxi platforms never picked me up, which was difficult in the heat. This made visiting the fair much harder. I can only give it a mediocre rating, sorry.

Close to the exhibition centre. Pets are allowed. Street parking is cheap. There was a small problem at check‑in: the keys weren’t in the box, so they gave us a different room. Hot water wasn’t always available – we could only use it one evening, and the next day there was none, so we had to take cold showers. We stayed two nights. The kitchen is shared between three rooms. On the first evening we put food and drinks in the fridge, but when we returned the next day it was empty – our food had disappeared. The management didn’t answer our questions about the missing food and drinks.

“La più brutta esperienza degli ultimi anni”

Nothing – the room description said there was a bathroom, but in reality it was an external one. The room had an external bathroom that wasn’t mentioned when I booked. No bottle of water in the room. No external directions to the street.

At arrival the room wasn’t cleaned and was in a simply filthy condition. After we complained, we were moved to another apartment 2 km from the one we booked, which caused a lot of trouble moving luggage, parking, and getting to the place we were in Bologna.
