“Excellent séjour”
The accommodation sits less than a 5‑minute drive from the park entrance, and the rooms are very comfortable; there’s also a lovely shared garden that’s perfect for breakfast. The breakfast itself is generous and tasty. Dining on site is convenient, with reasonable prices and good food. One thing to note: if you want to do a night safari, it’s not possible from here because you’re not staying in a lodge inside the park.
A beautiful hotel, very clean, and the staff are lovely. It’s ideally located for a safari in Akagera National Park, and the price is reasonable compared to other lodges in the area. I’ll book again; I stayed there for three days. The nights were stunning.
If you’re looking for a bit of comfort at a very reasonable price and amazing animal encounters at Akagera NP, I recommend Akagera Able Lodge. You’ll have wonderful human interactions there! Erneste is a gold‑mine of help, assisting us in planning our safari and gorilla trek, even offering to advance money for us.
