The atmosphere was lovely and the housekeeper was sweet, even retrieving my dropped earphones and delivering them promptly; however, the property sits on a hill and reaching the rooms in the building required a steep climb that left me short‑of‑breath.

The price was good, and the hotel’s minimalist style is clear; it’s about a 10‑minute walk to the old town. Breakfast runs until 11 AM, and check‑in is possible around noon. The Wi‑Fi is decent, though the small space isn’t sufficient for a laptop. The place isn’t my type—great for sleeping only. The co‑working area lacks A/C, making it hard to stay more than 1–2 hours, and it doubles as a breakfast room after 11 AM. I don’t feel it’s a 4‑star hotel; there were many mosquitoes in our room and a canal smell lingered.
