The lodge sits right in the wilderness with a view of the Kwai River and the bungalow‑tents are surprisingly roomy. Gali, the guide, makes the safari outings a real treat. But when you pay that kind of price you expect more than a cafeteria‑style buffet for dinner and breakfast – it felt a bit underwhelming.

The spot is oddly located, but the early‑morning and afternoon tours were amazing, and the service was top‑notch. Still, I think the price is a touch high for what you get.

This lodge is a blast – the staff are super friendly, the game drives are top‑notch, and we even caught a pack of wild dogs on the hunt. The food was solid, the tented rooms are spacious and comfy, and everything is spotlessly clean. The rooms sit deep in the bush, giving you privacy, and you can even watch wildlife from your patio right by the river. Rangers and game viewing were just amazing.
