The sight of Mount Yufu, the comfort, the friendly staff, the onsens with a view, and the town all made it perfect.

The building might be quite old, but the room was spacious and spotless; the front desk staff were pleasant, and after I realized I’d lost my wallet post‑checkout, they calmly and quickly found it, for which I’m very grateful.

It’s a traditional Japanese inn with roomy chambers and a communal bath where you can enjoy authentic onsen culture—a very nice experience, but the hotel is a bit far from the city center and the vending machines offer few choices; adding instant noodles or snack packs would be welcome.
