The price was good, but it was a long walk back into Ballybunion. It isn’t actually located in Ballybunion.

The location was convenient for a stopover on a road trip and ideal for golfers, as the golf course sits directly opposite the Cashen Course House. We chose the Cashen Course House because the Irish Open was happening at that time and there were only a few accommodations left in the area. The reception wasn’t particularly warm. The breakfast cost €15 extra per person and was not worth the price at all; only plain coffee was offered, no cappuccino or similar. Terrible: plastic tablecloths on the tables in the otherwise very elegant breakfast room! That was absolutely from the day before yesterday. With a proud room rate of €160 plus €30 for breakfast for two people, a total of €190 for a single night in a double room, you would expect a B&B to provide decent fabric tablecloths. There was no fridge in the room, even though the description listed a “kitchenette with fridge.” In hindsight, it wasn’t surprising that there were still vacant rooms available. Too bad! Much more could have been included.

The place was wonderful, quiet, and the rooms were extremely spacious!!! I loved the peace and silence that I needed. Nothing! The most beautiful spot so far.

The local vibe was authentic and I appreciated that we arrived very late after an airport mishap and they handled everything wonderfully. Nothing.
