It’s nice that the hotel sits right by the water. There’s a good on‑site restaurant. You can use the sauna and then cool off in the ocean at the hotel’s cliff pool. Our bathroom was really cold; it was only 17 °C when we arrived and it took several days to reach 20 °C. There were large clumps of hair on the bathroom rim. When we asked for cleaning nothing happened. The sauna was very dirty. The most disappointing part was that I got food poisoning the first night after eating fish with mussels. My husband got the same but didn’t get sick, so unfortunately I was unlucky with one bad mussel.

“Perfect space to relax, in a beautiful place.”

The place is very stylish and welcoming, with plenty of special touches and relaxed, friendly staff. The lighting design is fantastic and really sets the tone. Overall, the accommodation and food are top quality and I couldn't fault anything. The swim ladder and sauna area on the shoreline were well thought out and made my stay extra special. My room felt like a personal sanctuary, and the views were amazing, especially during a lighting storm late one evening over the sea. I had planned to leave after breakfast but stayed in my room until exactly 10.59 am. I was disappointed that there was no tea in bed in the morning, even though coffee and a herbal blend were available. I would have preferred an iron and ironing board instead of a steamer, which felt odd. There was a large shoal of Aurora moon jellyfish one morning near the swim ladder, so I didn't want to swim. The hotel wasn't at fault, but it would have helped to know they were harmless, as seeing them right by the ladder can be alarming.

A lovely spot with an absolutely fantastic view 😳 that we really enjoyed. The breakfast was great, and dinner was wonderful 👍. We stayed in a charming room (used as a bridal suite) that was a bit small, but the view of the water was lovely and the bathroom was a bit cramped. Still, a wonderful stay 😃
