The lowest price let us afford the trip, and there was no charge for having a car. We booked a two‑bed room, but it smelled like mold and had visible mold. They gave us a different room, but it only had one bed for three people.

The room was clean, functional, and the bed comfortable, with all the in‑room amenities. The property looked run‑down and tired, and it was way overpriced. Wyndham is very inconsistent about the quality of its properties.

We never had any issues. We left after discovering the mold because we are both seniors with compromised immune systems. There was black mold in the bathroom – a lot! I was told my money would be reimbursed, but it hasn’t happened. The problem is that the Super 8 manager agreed to refund me immediately, but this has not occurred. We are seniors, and having to find alternate accommodations in a foreign city late at night was a miserable experience. I have photos of the mold on my iPhone and will upload them. There is no doubt about the mold. The receptionist and the hotel manager agreed.

I stayed at a Wyndom property that was so bad I almost booked somewhere else; the rooms need a full renovation. The smell was terrible and I couldn't sleep. The TV remote was so dirty I had to use an ice bag to pick it up, and the bag stuck to it. It seems the rooms aren't cleaned properly and they’re missing a lot of essentials. The photos on the website clearly didn't match the actual rooms.

The hotel offered good value for its price and the staff were very pleasant. Minor issues included a noisy bathroom door that needed oil, a wet carpet at the foot of the first bed, and the TV wasn’t plugged in initially, but we managed to hook it up ourselves.
