The room was clean, the decor modern, and the breakfast excellent.
“Value for money”
The infrastructure is wonderful, rooms are spacious, the staff are very supportive, and it’s the best place for business stays. The soundproofing between rooms isn’t that great.
The hotel feels modern and spotless, and the new construction really shows. The beds were comfy and the atmosphere was nice, but the dim lighting made it hard to apply makeup.
Booked three suites for a one-night stay purely because I was intrigued by the alternative architecture and design of this hotel. This is a genuinely quirky, high-end property with a strong sense of identity. The architecture is what drew me in, but the people are what made the stay memorable. I was fortunate enough to meet the owners and the GM over lunch, and what a lovely bunch they are — incredibly humble, warm and down-to-earth. They should be very proud of what they have created. The hotel is only about a year old, so there are understandably some teething issues, particularly at check-in. Many of the staff are still finding their feet and perhaps lack the experience you would expect at a more established luxury property. That said, they more than make up for it with enthusiasm, courtesy and a genuine smile. For me, the one area where the hotel needs to evolve is service. The architecture has set the bar remarkably high, and the service needs to catch up with it. I may be being slightly brutal here — perhaps I expect a level of finesse and attention to detail that isn't realistic at this price point — but a few experienced hospitality professionals could really elevate the overall experience and help bring the team up to the level of the property itself. These are early days, and I genuinely hope they get there. I applaud the owners for having the vision and, frankly, the courage to create something this distinctive in Kollam. They have dared to do something different — and that deserves recognition. I would recommend this hotel for both business and leisure, whether for a night or a longer stay. If you're looking for something characterful, contemporary and decidedly different from the usual cookie-cutter hotels, this is definitely worth discovering. Wishing the entire team every success. I’ll certainly be back if I find myself in these parts again
