The room was spacious, and there were no complaints.

The motel sits in the town centre close to eateries. We enjoyed a half‑day boat trip around Lake Alexandrina, the Murray Mouth, and Coorong, and we walked across the sandhills to the Southern Ocean. It was well worth it, with many interesting sights, lunch and afternoon tea supplied, and dinner at the Hay Street Bar and Kitchen that was very good. The only downside was a bit of rain on one day, but it didn’t spoil the holiday.
