Guest House with a Stunning View

The table, chairs and couch were inadequate. I wanted to work at my computer and the table was too small and the chairs uncomfortable.

“Comfy warm and the location was a bonus.”

The location was great, the beds were comfy and the views were great. The heating was good for this time of year. Power kept blowing when you used too many appliances – it would have helped to know that in the notes so we knew what to expect. We found the fuse box to turn power on but it was a hassle to keep having to flip the switch. The TV above the bed was not ideal. We didn’t realize from the photos on the listing that the property was right next to the main house. I think this is worth mentioning.

“Our favourite stay during our holiday very spacious and comfortable!”

The view was stunning and I really enjoyed the hot tub; the owner communicated well, and even though the stay was near the main house, I felt I had plenty of privacy.

It was peaceful, away from traffic, with lovely views and beautiful scenery, and the location was close to Queenstown and other attractions; the downside was that the microwave was tucked in the bottom of a cupboard and hard to use, and the fridge/cooler fan ran continuously day and night.

“Nice quiet place to stay.”

The suite was quiet, self‑contained, and any from the main house in a rural setting; however, it seemed to have started as a backyard party room before being converted, so the layout is awkward with no power outlets beside the bed and a washroom sink that’s far too small, the only mirror being above the toilet.
