From the room window you could see the Togetsukyo Bridge and distant mountains – amazing! A hot spring is just a short walk away, and the location is fantastic. Breakfast lived up to the reviews: the salmon and side dishes were all delicious. No complaints.

A lovely little hotel in the centre with very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms offered views of the river and the bridge. The breakfast was authentically Japanese and very affordable. No issues.

I stayed on the 3rd floor and could see the full view of the Tateyama Bridge; the room was clean and comfortable, and they even included two bottled waters, which was a nice touch.

The staff were incredibly kind and sweet, even handing us umbrellas after we checked out because it was raining.
