The staff were kind; they cooked for us without garlic and onion due to my allergy; the bathroom especially needs a bit of renewal.

The location is top for a stay in the center of Scanno, but the building feels a bit dated and the breakfast didn’t live up to expectations.

The main feature of this hotel, besides the great value, is the owner's friendliness; we felt at home. The location is excellent, the historic centre of Scanno is a 5‑minute walk, and because we’re outside we always parked without trouble, which was essential as we moved around a lot by car to see the surroundings. Cleanliness was excellent. However, there are some flaws: the hotel feels a bit “old‑school” and lacks certain comforts. The room doors are wooden with a classic key, which may give little security (but the environment is so quiet that it’s overlooked). Breakfast was adequate but could have offered a bit more variety.
