The room was filthy, and when I reported it, no one responded; I had to leave and find another hotel, as the property looked very rundown. The unpleasant odor and overall neglect were disheartening, and the service was terrible.

The rooms were flawless, and the bathrooms were impeccable, but the pool fell short of expectations.

The location was great with plenty of nearby restaurants and a short drive to San Diego attractions, but for the nightly rate I expected free parking; I only discovered a nightly parking fee at checkout, which was an unexpected charge.

The location was excellent, breakfast was superb, and the staff were wonderful, yet the couch bed was uncomfortable and the coffee pot was broken.
