It was clean and reasonably priced, so I was satisfied! After showering, my feet got soggy. When washing hair, I worried it might clog the drain. The bath was a bit dim.

The room was clean and the futon was good. There was no TV, and the hallway was dark when I entered. I’d like a night light so I can see the switch. I’m not used to the area, and the signage was unclear. The road was narrow, so I couldn’t park right in front, which was the hardest part. But the note that there was no parking was helpful, and the nearby pharmacy’s parking was a great relief.

Overall clean and pleasant, and the bed and futon were comfortable. Having the bath and toilet together was inconvenient; the floor got soggy and it wasn’t a pleasant feeling. Since I’m Japanese, a carpet or tatami would have made it easier to sit directly on the floor.

We arrived very late because of the hiking trail, but the host patiently waited for us and then went out of his way to explain the shopping options and restaurants. He drew a sketch of the route to a supermarket that was still open that late, which was a real gesture of care. The accommodation is wheelchair‑friendly and serves as a daytime gathering spot for people with disabilities. I’d definitely stay here again.

Guesthouse Kinari turned out to be outstanding, and we’re so grateful for the chance to stay in such a lovely place. It doubles as a community hub for children and people with disabilities, and spaces like this are vital because everyone can use it. Our room was very comfortable and spacious, with great beds and a large toilet that includes a bathtub! In the mornings, locals gather in the facility, and we even enjoyed the most delightful breakfast of onigiri and miso soup together. The owner supplied a personal guide to local sights that was incredibly insightful. I can’t stress enough how thankful we are to have stayed here, and we appreciate all the hard work that keeps Guesthouse Kinari welcoming for everyone. Thank you again! Nothing could be better, and I would recommend it without hesitation.
