I could walk to shopping, restaurants, and the Chicago Theater, but the building feels old yet still safe and clean; the street noise was annoying, and I stayed in a corner room on the 13th floor at the Westin.

The building looks beautiful inside and out, but construction outside window 513 woke me up early in the morning with constant noise.

The location is great—easy walking distance to the Bean, museums, and retail shops northward, plus boats for architecture tours nearby; plenty of food options within a 10‑20 minute walk, and free water is provided daily. The elevators move very slowly.
