The hosts were welcoming, the room and facilities were clean, and the rural setting was nice but not too far from local towns. I slept exceptionally well in the room, breakfast was offered along with a wide selection of tea and coffee, and I’ll definitely return when I’m back in the Cavan area.
The best B&B ever; I didn’t want to leave. Everything, really everything, was perfect, and I’m already looking forward to my next stay.
I slept in a really comfy bed, the room was cozy, clean, the host was lovely, and parking was good – would definitely recommend.
A beautiful location made this a great place to stay—everything was perfect!
“Sehr schöne geräumige und ruhige Unterkunft, mit netter Gastgeberin in typisch irischer Landschaft”
The host was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making us feel at home from the first minute. Besides the bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, there was a lounge where breakfast could be taken. The rooms were quiet and cozy. The house was surrounded by typical Irish countryside. In the breakfast room the host provided a toaster, a kettle, milk, butter, jam, fruit, tea bags, and various instant coffees. Breakfast itself was a self‑serve affair. The location is a bit out of the way; not recommended without a car. On the last night of my three‑night stay, extra guests arrived around 1:00 am and left around 6:20 am. Because the showers were operated by a shower machine that produced loud noises and the ceilings were thin, sleep was severely limited that night. The host offered us an additional free night, which we declined due to a pre‑existing onward booking. She couldn’t control it, but she should ensure that rooms are only allocated to guests who respect quiet hours when additional people are staying.
