The location works, but the building needs serious safety checks. Our first room was on the top floor, the lift was broken, windows wouldn’t open, and there was a nasty odor. We were shifted to a ground‑floor room that had obvious stains on the floor, windows that were screwed shut during a heatwave, curtains that didn’t cover the windows so we were visible from the street, poor cleanliness, two fridges, a broken cabinet, and a wardrobe that smelled like a dead person. The bathroom door kept getting stuck because its bottom was broken, the shower rail was broken so the head couldn’t be adjusted, and the shower itself was so tiny you could barely move. The staff seemed indifferent and were located next door, making them hard to reach.
