“Clean place but terrible valet service”
The hotel was clean and in a great location, and the women at the front desk were nice and easy to work with. However, the website listed private parking for $45, but it was actually valet parking only for $48, and there was no self‑parking at all, which should be clarified on the site. The valet employees were pushy and a little rude, almost as if they wanted to provoke an argument, even though I don’t like arguing. They were very insistent on taking our keys while we were unloading the car; I would understand if it were a busy time, but we checked in late at night and were the only vehicle in the driveway. They need a better approach when guests pull in. I’ve stayed at many hotels with valet parking only that were not so pushy or harassing when we tried to check in and unload. They also gave us a card to text when we needed our vehicle ready for departure, but that system didn’t work; 15 minutes later we still had to go downstairs and wait for the valet to fetch our car, and the valet said she hadn’t received the request. After we left, I got a text saying there were no available valets and to try again in 10 minutes.
