I stayed just a short 10‑minute drive on a gravel road right across from the 12 Apostles, and the location was fantastic. The motel itself was charming, with friendly staff and a sweet dog, and the surrounding nature was beautiful, full of flowers and trees. We only slept there for one night, but we’d love to return for a longer stay next time. Definitely a recommendation!

The afternoon sun was nice, but the place was dirty, with no staff, no parking, a rough dirt road, and unclean conditions. The fltwire had holes patched with a Post‑It, the garden view was just weeds, kitchen utensils were dirty, a t‑towel was wet, the TV didn’t work, everything needed to be plugged in, the toiletries were pre‑used, tap water was dirty, and there was no water pressure in the shower.

The spot was great for catching morning and evening views of the 12 Apostles, but I was very tired and the room needed a good clean and makeover. I couldn’t cook because there was no kitchenware.

The location was good, but the property was in a run‑down state and needed extensive general maintenance. Cobwebs were everywhere, there were numerous DIY repairs and unfinished fixes, and several areas needed attention and improvement. Overall, the presentation felt poorly maintained and dated, which lowered the property’s appeal and would require extra time and expense to bring it up to a well‑maintained standard.
