I met nice people, the host Stefan is friendly and helpful, and the value for money is great. A very sweet dog named Cora and a cat named Paul welcome you unobtrusively, and Stefan shows you around and even offers vegetables from his own garden. The hostel has everything you need, is well‑located, and you get a well‑equipped kitchen. Breakfast, with good regional cheese and yogurt among other items, is truly tasty. I felt very comfortable and had a pleasant evening with good conversations.

The only affordable bed around the Splügenpass trail, and the host is friendly. You can cook if you want. The problem is that it’s basically a mass camp – two toilets and showers for 16 beds can get tight, and the breakfast is pretty basic.

“Hüttenflair”

The place has that laid‑back, cabin‑like feel. You’re quick to strike up a chat with other guests. The downside? No meals are offered – you’ll have to cook yourself. The sleeping area is a shared dorm with bunk beds, so it’s a bit cramped.

I was walking the Via Spluga and the kitchen was a lifesaver. The beds and the rest of the setup were solid and worth the price. A solid stop on the trail.

“Un angolo di serenità”

Ostello molto carino sulla Via Spluga. Molto pulito, il proprietario è molto cordiale e parla italiano, cosa non molto scontata in Svizzera. Ci ha accolto bene e alla partenza ci ha regalato una marmellata fatta da lui.
