Had an excellent stay in a village that looked plain at night when I arrived. A bit off from Yangshuo, but it lets you soak in a truly magical Chinese vibe. The owner speaks English, is relaxed and friendly, and gave great advice that made my trip smoother. The place is tastefully decorated; the rooms are spartan but have their own charm. It’s well located – bike, scooter, or taxi will get you around. I highly recommend it for anyone who doesn’t need top‑class room comfort.
