The staff were lovely and the price was cheap, but my room was swarmed by hundreds of mosquitoes, the bedding was threadbare, the place wasn’t clean, and construction was just 2 ft away, though that was beyond their control.
The place sits in a solid spot and the air conditioning works well, and the staff were friendly. When we got to the room, it had a moldy smell and a bunch of mosquitoes; the toilet didn’t flush and made odd noises. Those noises are common around here, but the combination of the mold and the non‑flush toilet pushed us to leave a night early.

Everything about this place blew me away—from the fantastic staff to the stunning view and the unbeatable proximity to everything. I’ve never met people who go the extra mile, and this guesthouse feels more like a home than a hotel. I’ll always remember my time here and urge anyone to stay.
It was cheap and the location was good, but the toilet cleaning nozzle was broken and there were more than ten mosquitoes in the room when I entered.
