“Agosto a nella meravigliosa Baunei”

The lovely property and Vincenzo’s wonderful hospitality deserve a stay in Plassa and Clesia, though the magnificent bell tower just 10 metres from the room woke us a little earlier than we’d like.

“Pace”

In the heart of town, the tiny house offered a stunning view, and having a bar and a trattoria/pizzeria right next door was handy. The little spot below the house made for a great aperitif, and Baunei itself is gorgeous and just a stone’s throw from paradise. The host was friendly and always there. However, the rooms next door were noisy and everything could be heard. The bathroom was small but impeccably clean, which mattered most.

The location is fantastic—right on the main plaza, facing an amazing view, next to a wonderfully beautiful rooftop restaurant, and the room is so beautiful and charming. Free parking is right there, making it an incredibly romantic and cute place to stay to see Baunei at sunset, sunrise, and just to experience it. We stopped there to break the long drive from Cagliari to Olbia, and it was a very, very good choice. The owner was really nice and welcoming. One of the most recommended and special stays I’ve had.

“Soggiorno davvero fantastico”

We were welcomed warmly from the moment we arrived. The owner was always very kind, helpful, and attentive to our needs. We asked if it would be possible to check in early, and as he had told us, we found the room already ready when we arrived—a touch we really appreciated. The room was clean and comfortable, and throughout our stay he was very responsive to our requests. Breakfast was included and very good, as was dinner, which was part of the stay: everything was truly pleasant and well cared for. A bonus was the owner’s willingness to give us advice on what to see, where to go to the beach, and which places to visit nearby. His suggestions helped us enjoy Baunei and the area even more. The setting was very characteristic: right across the street is the village church, and during the day you can hear the bells, a sound that’s becoming rarer and that makes the atmosphere even more authentic and evocative. In short, a stay we absolutely recommend. Hospitality, availability, good food, and a typical, welcoming vibe. If we return to Baunei, we’ll definitely stay here again!
