A dead roach on the sink was the first thing that put me off. When I finally settled and wanted to freshen up, there was no shower head—just a tap 😭. I booked for two nights but left the next morning because the room was in a bad state.

The only issue was that the toilet and shower didn’t have a cover, so water splashed onto the toilet while showering. Aside from that, the staff were welcoming and respectful, and the facility was safe and easy to find.

The staff were good, welcoming, helpful, and friendly. However, we bought food and were not allowed to eat at the reception tables because we were too many. We were told to eat in the bedroom, which had a toilet/bathroom—unhygienic because the room was small. There were 15 of us, and we wanted to eat together, so we were squeezed like sardines. We were just glad it was a one‑day stay and we would leave. When we booked, nobody saw how many we were, but we were told to use the visitor tables, which was impossible. I was angry, but there was nothing I could do; it was already too late to move out.
