“Ein toller Familienurlaub in den Bergen”

The place was great – staff, facilities, cleanliness, the vegan breakfast effort, parking and a bus stop right outside, a cable‑car right at the lodge (only in winter), and a direct trail behind the house to the Natrun mountain (TomHütte/Prinzensee). We had everything we needed, and we grew fond of the housekeeper because we had to leave our elderly dog at home. The only downside was the location right on the road, so at night with windows open and rain the traffic was a bit louder, but that’s not something the host could fix.

Austrian scenery is gorgeous – I’ll definitely come back! The value for money was spot on. The owners were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious with coffee, fresh pastries that were constantly restocked, so everyone found something they liked. We stayed for a week and the breakfast stayed the same each day; a bit of variety could improve it, but we were fully satisfied. The place sits along the road, yet it was quiet. Cleanliness was adequate. The bed was comfortable. If you’re after a great view, you’ll need to book a room a bit higher up.
