“Mediocre”
The location was close to the airport. The quality did not match the price.
“DA EVITARE se non per questioni di budget (ma attenzione)”
I think this was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had, especially considering how it’s presented. I didn’t give it a 1 because the price was the most affordable in the area, and that’s worth noting. But if you can, avoid it. The location isn’t a 7‑9 minute walk; it’s 20‑30 minutes on foot, and the path crosses fields, highways, construction sites, making it hard to find the right way because Google Maps doesn’t mark it well. The final stretch is safer, but the entrance is isolated from the road, surrounded by hedges. If you’re not young and your luggage is heavy, walking is impossible – you’ll spend a lot on a taxi. Arriving at night, most of the route is dark and unlit (next to a highway). No one answered the bell; a kind guest gave me the owner’s phone number, let me in, and escorted me to the room (which seemed to be open without supervision). At first glance it looked clean, but I noticed a lot of dust after sitting for a moment. The largest towel had red blood stains. The wall isn’t sound‑proof at all; you can hear every guest arrive, planes taking off, and an internal noise that feels like a nuclear reactor. I admit I felt a bit scared about the location and everything around it; if I could, I’d pay ten times as much to avoid this. In the room there was almost no water. I found nothing for breakfast.
“Solo válida para 1noche y si no te importa andar al aeropuerto. Comunicación muy mejorable.”
I stayed at what felt more like a family house than a hotel, with rooms added to the space; it wasn’t a real hotel, so if that’s what you’re after, keep that in mind. The place was clean and comfortable, and the location was fine if you’re staying in Venice and catching an early flight—our flight left at 6 am. The walk to the airport takes about 15‑20 minutes, it’s lit and the road passes through a safe area, so if you don’t mind walking it’s a decent spot near the airport. I had trouble getting a response from the host about the airport transfer; I kept asking via the platform and WhatsApp, but they didn’t reply until the same day, leaving me little time to arrange it. They wanted to charge €25 for a trip that would only take four minutes by car. Check‑in was on time, but the person who greeted us didn’t speak English, even though the “Hotel” info claimed they did. The host, who seemed to be the person in charge, was in a very noisy area and we couldn’t hear anything, so we had to rely on gestures and what we could pick up in Italian. The room was a bit noisy because, although it had a private bathroom, it was next to rooms without one and located on the hallway, so there was a lot of foot traffic.
The property’s proximity to the airport was convenient, and the Italian‑speaking host drove us to the airport for a fee. However, the host couldn’t speak English, which made communication confusing; we had a garbled phone conversation. The location was remote, so we had to walk 20 minutes to find a place to eat. The TV didn’t work, the room was very small, and there were multiple steps to reach our room.
“I can recommend this place if you need somewhere close to the airport, it was comfortable and nice and clean”
Our flight was cancelled, and we were very happy to be able to book and stay here; the response to our booking was very quick. The place was nice and clean, and check‑in was easy. They arranged transport for us back to the airport in the morning – thanks!
