We stayed on the island for just two nights; Elafonisos Diamond Resort is in a strategic and very convenient spot. The property is a bit dated, but clean and perfect for those of us with little time to explore the island. It faces the Kato Nisi beach and is only a 7‑minute drive from Simos beach. The kind and available owner gave us valuable restaurant suggestions.

Great location near the beautiful Panagia beach. The owners are friendly. The apartment is a bit dated and the cleaning is not sufficient.

The staff is excellent, as is the location, especially considering that Elafonisos is a very small island, so the distances between various sights are truly short.

The property sits just a few steps from one of Greece’s most beautiful beaches, “Panagia”. The builders originally chose solid architectural designs, quality materials, and good interior furnishings, but now the place feels a bit neglected and could use a makeover. The shower box was missing a door, the water inside the apartment tasted salty, the kitchenette was under‑equipped and the cooking area needed a review. Outside, the building looks worn; a quick trim of dry grass, removal of abandoned furniture, and a few low‑maintenance herb pots would add warmth and welcome. The price felt high for what was offered.

The location near the beach and the well‑kept garden are positives. The room had old furniture, the bathroom lacked adequate lighting (which was replaced the next day upon request), there was only one frying pan for cooking, and a table that could seat four people, though we were only two.
