The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. The food was good and they offered a nice selection of craft ales. If you’re in room 4, bring earplugs because the extractor fan from the kitchen above can be heard all night.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation felt a bit worn but was clean and perfectly adequate, offering good value for money. I’d stay there again.

The folks running the traditional pub were lovely, serving great food and excellent beer. The rooms, however, are only a 7‑star experience: the bed is very small and there’s a slight damp smell.
