“Acceptable but still it had a little bit of a low-rent feel. But the price was in fact low.”
The location was great and the bed was comfortable. The property was under renovation. I trusted the Wyndham name but it didn’t live up to the brand, though with a bit more work it might. The bathroom door was severely damaged. One of the bathtub fixtures was usable but technically broken. There was no carpet, which was a plus. The office‑style chair needed replacement. It had a small fridge that worked fine and was clean. They advertised breakfast but only offered coffee and a two‑pack of low‑quality sweet muffins. I wasn’t expecting much, but some people would probably not be happy. The entire city of Austin has a 19% hotel tax, which is outrageous.
