Luxury tents at Namib Desert Camping2Go in Solitaire feature private bathrooms, terraces, kitchenettes, dining areas and outdoor furniture with landmark views. Guests receive private check‑in, concierge service, daily housekeeping, an outdoor fireplace, barbecue facilities and free on‑site parking. The site, 35 km south of Solitaire, offers a swimming pool, hiking trails, and easy access to the Namib Desert and Sossusvlei.

The tent was enormous and spotless, with plenty of outdoor space. We enjoyed a nighttime walk to spot scorpions under UV light, and even though we arrived early, we could use the pool and bar before the tent was ready.

The tent was fantastic, fully equipped with comfortable beds and an in‑tent bathroom. Plenty of room, especially for just two people. The outdoor area offered a great view of nature and cooking options with a gas stove and grill. Everything you could need was there, and the buffet at the restaurant was tasty with a fair price‑for‑value. The lodge, about 800 m away, also had a pool we could use, and we could book spontaneous activities on the spot. The game drive was amazing, and a day trip to Sossusvlei—whether guided or self‑toured—was easy to arrange from there.

Everything was great. The staff were very friendly, the place is beautiful, and the tent is cozy. The only downside was that our shower was cold.

The campsite was lovely and quiet, with everything you need for camping. The starry sky at night is impressive, and the lodge next door offers good facilities and a restaurant.

Das Zelt war super komfortabel und top ausgestattet. Wir haben als Camping2Go Gäste auch den Pool und das Restaurant von der Lodge mitnutzen können. Das Abendessen war nicht billig mit ca 23€, aber es war super lecker (Großes Buffet). Wi-Fi war sehr schlecht und im Zelt hatte man auch gar keinen anderen Empfang
