“Хороший недорогой отель в центре”

A small hotel just off the main street, almost in the center, close enough to walk to the main sights. The quiet lane means almost no city noise. The staff work well, and the rooms are clean with all necessities. Unfortunately, we missed the praised breakfasts because we left very early. Overall, it’s a solid “four” rating. The only noticeable flaw is the poor sound insulation from neighboring rooms—one can hear people walking above. Everything else is fine.

“Good location and parking!”

The location was great, with free parking available. Breakfast was good, the bed was comfortable, and the area was very quiet despite being central. Good restaurants were just around the corner. However, one room had all the sockets broken, and the staff were aware but still assigned it to guests. The breakfast staff seemed unmotivated, mostly watching videos on their phone. The bathroom could use a cleaning with vinegar.

The breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly, which I really appreciated. The location is fantastic; after a few turns you’re in a nice area, though there’s a short 100‑meter stretch that feels like a residential alley. The bed and pillows are comfortable, the sheets are soft, and the hot water supply is great—all worth mentioning. Finding the hotel the first time is a bit tricky; Google Maps doesn’t show it—you need Yandex Maps. The biggest issue for me was the soundproofing—it’s terrible. On the first day, right after checking in at around five in the afternoon, I could hear couples making noise; it was extremely uncomfortable. Luckily, they seemed to check out that day and were replaced by a group of girls who also talk loudly in their room; I could hear every word clearly. Another problem was the smell: on the guest room floor, the cheap artificial scent was almost suffocating, and the room’s interior smelled just as bad. I had to hide their air fresheners and keep the windows open for continuous ventilation to make it somewhat tolerable. Even so, every time I walked those few steps from the elevator to my room, the smell took my breath away.

The hotel sits in a quiet neighborhood with a great grill restaurant, Nash Dvor, right around the corner. The hotel and rooms are clean, and the floor in our room is mopped every day. The breakfast buffet offers a good selection, and the staff are friendly and available 24/7. The only drawback is that they only serve instant coffee; I personally prefer freshly ground coffee, but that’s just a preference, not a fault.
