Everything was great when you factor in the price. :-) The only downside was that there was no Wi‑Fi in the room. :-(

The breakfast was adequate, but there was nothing for allergy sufferers, like lactose intolerance. Coffee, tea and juice were plentiful. The hotel sits in a quiet corner. We had our room right above the outdoor terrace where smoking was allowed, so the smoke drifted into our room and we couldn’t leave the windows open at night. We told the receptionist, who replied briefly, “oh, could you still sleep?” We didn’t want money back, but that blunt answer was unexpected.

Because there were few guests at the start and end, the breakfast was modest twice, but we could take a sandwich for the trip home. A few hanging options in the bathroom would be nice, and a wardrobe to store clothes instead of just hanging them.

Breakfast was very good, the room was large, staff friendly, public transport very convenient, and the price‑for‑value was good for Hannover. Self‑serve drinks (paid), a fridge for your own drinks on the ground floor, a terrace. The furnishings were rather old‑fashioned, the flowers in the balcony planters on the terrace were dry, and the light went out after a few minutes. If you don’t want to sit in the dark, you have to step in and out again. We didn’t find it very annoying because the light was very bright. Maybe a few solar lights or small lamps on the tables would help.

We didn’t order breakfast. The room key didn’t work until we entered the PIN three times. It should work better next time.
