The staff were polite and helpful, the spot was very convenient and fairly quiet, and within a short walk there are good cafés, grocery shops, and bus stops; walking to Nur Zhol and other cool spots in the new city centre is easy. I would strongly suggest the owners—please don't be offended—to have a specialist clean the dust filters in the room air‑conditioners (they're heavily soiled) and service or flush the street‑block radiators; that would boost their heating efficiency.
Staff were courteous and the room stayed clean, but the carpet gave off a bad odor and the water pressure was weak.
