I never thought a place could be so awful; it was the worst I’ve ever stayed at and it looked completely trashed.

I had to be moved to a first‑floor room because the ceiling upstairs was falling down and there were leaks everywhere; the two doors at the end of the building had no locks, so anyone on the street could walk in. The room I’d booked was locked out, and when we went to the front desk there was no one there— the staff member was out in their vehicle dealing with some crisis. It was far from professional. I snapped photos of the breakfast counter, where pancake and waffle mix from one or two days earlier was left untouched, and the next morning the same mess remained, with cereal and more waffle mix left out. The towels in the room were stained with yellow residue, the bathtub filled up to the ankles and didn’t drain properly, and the toilet lid wasn’t screwed in, almost causing me to fall. The whole place feels trashed and needs corporate intervention.

Checking in was pleasant, the rooms and facilities were clean, and although there were signs of wear everything stayed neat.

The room was spacious and they’re pet friendly, but the coffee maker broke and there was no front desk service until 2 pm.
