“The room is okay but stuff is horrible”
The property itself was okay, though it had no windows and the trash wouldn’t be cleaned sometimes; the staff was very unresponsive—they ignored my messages about the messy sink and the faulty door lock; very irresponsible, they left me locked out of my room so I had to find another accommodation at 9 pm; I did not receive any answer on this matter whatsoever; they never check their WhatsApp, I checked out earlier than I was supposed to and texted them on WhatsApp; still, they bothered me in this app the next day, implying I was late for my checkout; I would not recommend.

The place sits in a great spot and feels super safe, so I really enjoyed my visit. The owner kept chatting with me all the time and walked me through every rule and condition. The only downside was that no one came to clean the room and there was no mirror.
“Would not go back”
The spot is close to bus and subway stops and supermarkets, and the price was cheap for Hong Kong. At least the AC was there. The host never answered phone calls and only texted, which was inefficient. I also had a ton of back‑and‑forth about a door lock issue before they told me there was a spare key hidden inside the apartment. That key was in a box everyone could open, so when I left my room I just had to hope no one would sneak in and steal. The host kept texting me about keeping the room clean, which felt over‑the‑top. There was no towel in the bathroom, which I found ridiculous. There was a mat near the shower that never dried, so it stayed soaking wet and became a breeding ground for bugs that could cause a foot infection. I would never stay here again.
