The breakfast buffet left a lot to be desired; pancakes were hard around the edges after sitting out and pastries felt a bit stale, and the egg selection was limited—eggs benedict was awful. The indoor pool didn’t meet the cleanliness standards expected at a high‑end resort; the bottom of the zero‑walk area had slimy, slick spots where kids slipped, and grime was visible on the tiles just above the water line—cleaner pools were expected.

The place is gorgeous and the room was spacious and nice, with staff who were helpful and accommodating. However, it gets very busy, almost too crowded. We dined at the spot’s bar and the food was terrible, almost making us think we’d get food poisoning; we had to drive elsewhere for food and definitely wouldn’t recommend the overpriced, awful menu.

We liked the hotel and its pools, and lunch at the grain something restaurant was good, especially the pizza and the service. But dinner at the cooper table was horrible; we spent over $100 with a tip and barely ate. The breakfast croissant from the market wasn’t good either. Parking was outrageous—$51 after we’d already paid over $550 for the stay. When we arrived, we were told the outside pool areas would be closed for a private event starting at 3, which was extremely disappointing since we weren’t told about it when booking.
