The location was great, just a 10‑minute walk from the shops on the Lakeside. The garden was ideal for sun‑bathing and relaxing. Service from Katerina and Strato was excellent, and I recommend it without hesitation.

“Spacious room and lovely hosts”

The room was spotless and roomy, and it looked gorgeous. The bathroom felt like a cave in the best possible way. The host drove me from the port and offered to take me back when I left. I received small breakfast snacks that were very sweet. If the resident cats pick you, you’ll feel like a cat whisperer; I had several cats on my terrace many nights and mornings. Parking is easy if you have a car, and you can skip driving in the town centre depending on where you’re heading. Minor issues – I wish there were a carpet or something by the door to wipe your feet before entering. The property is by the beach and the wind brings a lot of sand onto the terrace; my terrace floor wasn’t wiped while I was there, so I felt like I was always bringing sand into the room. It’s a long walk to town (about 1 km, and further to the port and supermarket) and a dirt road for around 400 metres of the way. I knew the distance when booking, but with the heat it’s something to consider, especially if you don’t have a rental and rely on the buses. I personally don’t smoke and can’t stand the smell, so it was a bit annoying that the next‑door neighbours were chain‑smoking and therefore I couldn’t fully use my terrace and had to keep the window and door closed. Perhaps a smoking area, as the yard is massive and would have space for that?

We had a very good stay here. The hosts’ hospitality was amazing; they picked us up at the port, drove us back, and brought a snack each morning around 9 am (a muffin or a simple sandwich). Communication via messages was great. They even arranged a car rental for us. The nicest people ever. The accommodation is at the end of the beach, about a 20‑minute walk to the port. Just a few steps from the sea, you can see the sea from the garden. Many cats hang around. Private parking. Very calm at night. Comfortable mattress and good pillow. There was a tiny kitchen with surprisingly many utensils, also a pretty large fridge. There is a coffee machine, and they give you two coffee capsules per day. The room and bathroom were both very small. The bed was squeaky. Funny sewage smell in the bathroom. Very bad cancellation policy – we had to pay when booking and it was not refundable, so it felt quite risky to book months ahead. These are just a few inconveniences; the hospitality and location definitely make up for it and I would recommend booking with them.

“Happy to recommend you stay here”

Lovely position next to the beach with a nice garden area in front. The owners are lovely and helpful to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Some very nice touches like beach towels and each morning a tasty snack. The apartment we had has a kitchen area very well stocked and a decent fridge. Nice coffee machine and provisions replenished each day. 24/7 hot water, very clean and comfy beds. We had a really nice stay and certainly recommend it to others. Nothing to complain about, all good.
