The staff here are super friendly and always smiling, which made our stay really enjoyable. The breakfast was great and the bed was incredibly comfy. However, it's a bit of a trek to get to Malioboro, which was a bit of a downside. On the plus side, the hotel is right across from a cinema, which was convenient.

I was pretty happy with the location - it was close to where I needed to be. That being said, I was a bit disappointed with the cleanliness of the linens and towels, and the windows could have used a good wipe down. Maybe the housekeeping staff could use some extra training?

The room was actually pretty spacious and had everything we needed, plus it was clean. I guess they're trying to go green or something, so no bottled water in the room, but there was a pitcher and a dispenser in the hallway. However, the bathroom was super stinky, and on the second night, the shower water wasn't hot, which was a bit of a problem since the technician couldn't fix it right away.

So I already paid, but then they asked for another payment of 230, which was pretty frustrating. And when I tried to cancel because of it, they just said it was non-refundable.

This place is seriously affordable, and the room was huge, so that's a big plus.
