Located on the waterfront of Kerteminde Fjord, Munkebo Kro & Hotel is a 3-star property offering fjord views from its in-house restaurant. Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi and parking. Rooms feature a TV, seating area, and work desk. The restaurant serves a seasonal menu based on regional ingredients, paired with a wide selection of fine wines.

Breakfast: very good, dinner: decent. The beef was a bit tough, and there were no maps of walking trails for the area.

Hotel in traditional Fachwerk style with Reddach, still partly well maintained from the house’s founding period. Very good and quiet location on the outskirts of Munkebo – ideal as a starting point for outings. Sufficient free parking directly at the hotel. Friendly staff in service. Very good and extensive breakfast. Fresh fruit daily The ventilation / exhaust of the bath had its shortcomings. A small wardrobe (coat hooks and shelf) would nicely complement the practical room setup

A great spot to launch trips around the area, with a breakfast that has something for everyone. The staff were friendly and the room was tidy with comfortable beds, and the restaurant was excellent. If we head back to Munkebo, this hotel will be our first choice again. On the downside, a longer stay would have benefited from a bit more variety at breakfast, and the tea cups in the room were sometimes not spotless—perhaps the dishwasher isn’t flawless. Still, these small issues didn’t spoil our pleasant stay.
