Pension Spreewelten

I loved how unique the room felt. It was very quiet even though the train station was nearby, and I appreciated that I could make tea and coffee. Breakfast was good and walking into Lubbenau and the nearby Lehde was easy. I booked a 2‑hour kayak session for two people. The network was across the street and there was a great pizza place next door. After a tough Deutchbahn trip, the stay was very relaxing. I wouldn't recommend it to older guests because getting luggage up the spiral staircase was hard; we had rucksack attachments but it was still difficult. The staff offered help, though.

The accommodation is truly unique. The canoe trip and entry to the Spreewelten are included in the travel price, so the value for money is excellent! The rooms are one of a kind and well equipped. You hardly notice that you're staying in an old train station, and there were earplugs in the room—though we didn't need them. Each room also had a refrigerator compartment. We’ll definitely come back!

“Wunderschönes Spreewaldambiente”

Absolutely extraordinary—literally. The current room (“Favorite Spot of the Snake King”) was another artistic highlight. I just feel so comfortable there. I have to try all the rooms, but only those with private bathrooms. The rooms are very clean, quiet, cozy, and the bathrooms are modern with Spreewald motifs. The staff are competent and friendly. Thank you for everything. The rooms are a bit louder near the station than on the street side, so I’d suggest offering breakfast as optional.

“Ein schöner Aufenthalt in einem besonderen Umfeld”

As described, the rooms are remarkably designed; one room faced the tracks, but that was known beforehand. The added services were great: two daily tickets for everyone to the Spreewelten bath and an extra option, which we chose—the canoe trip—and it was a perfect finish to our trip. The breakfast was rather functional, and the beds were quite hard.
