“Will not be back”
The 1st floor restaurant was good and the housekeeping staff were friendly, yet I was left with a long list of disappointments. As a Canadian and frequent world business traveler, I would never stay at this hotel again. The rooms were at best okay and overpriced for what they offered. While the service employees were good, the managers treated their staff poorly, were arrogant, unprofessional, and did nothing to resolve problems. False advertising and vastly inflated prices were also issues. We had booked a small meeting room online, advertised as comfortably seating 8, but it turned out NOT to be a meeting room at all but one of the managers' offices which could comfortably host 4 at best. We couldn't even open or close the door without shuffling chairs and people because the space was so small. Everyone was squished and remained uncomfortable all day long. We were also frequently interrupted by employees knocking to look for the manager who would normally use that office space. For this grievous experience they charged us >20,000 INR for one day. When we complained, they argued that it is comfortable for 8 people, did nothing to remediate concerns, refused to even lower the price, and did not even apologize. By comparison, we had previously just used meeting space at Trident 5‑star hotel in Agra for less cost, and were provided a beautiful room that seated 25 easily, and had supplies for 2 coffee breaks included. Overall, to say we were disappointed would be a vast understatement. We will not be back. Scott – Canada
