I was sent to a different place that wasn’t even the one I’d booked, and it felt like a trick. The whole switch happened over the phone, claiming I’d been re‑booked into another building. That other company told me the “Adler” gets overbooked like this all the time, so I’m never staying at Adler am Schloß again. I was simply lied to.

There was no personal welcome, the room wasn’t ready at the time I was supposed to arrive, the information about the off‑site breakfast was wrong, so I’ll be more careful when I book next time.

The attic room was spacious and nice, and the contactless check‑in and check‑out worked smoothly. However, the beds are being replaced gradually; we still had an old one.
