Nothing good at all: the place smelled awful, doors kept banging, kids ran and shouted in the hallway, people shouted from windows and talked to each other in the next room. Even when we arrived late at night they claimed we had no booking—though I had paid and sent a message. The night staff had to run around the hotel to check for available rooms and clean.

Close to the venue, nothing else worth mentioning. The place was dirty, with exposed electrical wiring; the bed and carpet looked as if the previous guests had died there—disgusting. Reception service was incomprehensible, unhelpful, and unfriendly. I have not received a refund yet, and it probably won’t happen.

The hotel was okay for a single night. Coincidentally it was Harbour Day and hotels in Hamburg were expensive and fully booked. A U‑bahn from the station goes straight to the front of the hotel, so I recommend it! I walked there, but the area is pretty rough, so I wouldn’t recommend it.

I had a frustrating experience when I arrived at the hotel a few minutes past 11 PM, only to find that the front desk was closed. Although there were phone numbers on the entrance door to call for assistance, no one answered, leaving me with no choice but to search for and book a room at another hotel in the middle of the night.

My room had a strong, unpleasant smell of cigarettes and ashtrays, which was quite bothersome. Additionally, the windows didn't provide sufficient soundproofing or light blocking, and the shades didn't effectively block out streetlights. The walls also lacked soundproofing, making for a less-than-ideal stay.
